Visit to Khoda Bakhsh Oriental Library, Patna Bihar
Mr. Khoda Bakhsh, the founder of the library, handed over the library to the government in 1891 for public use. This library is considered one of the best libraries in India because it has 22,000 manuscripts, some of which are very old Quranic copies.
There is a Quran in this library called 40 parts of the Quran attributed to the Shiites. In the past, the method of this library was that everyone who visited this library would be specially shown this Quran. In this Quran, there are 2 surahs named Surah “Noorin” and Surah “Wilayat”. The exact address of this Quran in the library is 229 B 231A HL-31. Of course, it is stated in English in one of the letters that the Shiites do not believe in such a Quran that has 40 parts. Once again, on my recommendation, the officials accepted that in the future they would not introduce it as the Shiite Quran.
